Exterior Colours - UK market

Over its production run the Maxi was available for the UK market in 52 different colours as shown below. The years shown are to the best of our knowledge, based on details from colour/trim charts available to the club and the Maxi UK Register. Some colours would have still been available to purchase from stock after the last year shown. If you have any further information that would help refine this list we would be delighted to hear from you.
Different colours were available in other markets, in particular Maxis assembled in New Zealand had their own unique colour options.
Black and the metallic colours were available as extra cost options. Black could be specified with any interior trim colour that was available at the time. The early metallic colours could only be specified for the HL model until 1979 with the launch of the HLS model, thereafter it was an extra cost option on all models. To counter this, Tahiti Blue and Brooklands Green were initially only available on the 1500 and 1750 base models.
