Of the 500,000 or so Maxi's produced, we think between five hundred and a thousand survive (June 2007). This information is based on UK road licensing records and correspondence between the club and individual Maxi owners. Most of these vehicles are located in the UK, but there are a few Maxi's in other parts of the world, especially Northern Europe. The map below shows where these vehicles were located in 2007.

In the UK about 30% of vehicles on the road in June 2007 were tax exempt, that is built before 1973. Currently our webmaster is carrying out additional research in this and other related areas, such as which countries the cars were exported too.
