BCK 119V

This vehicle is currently being restored by its owner Dave Jackson. Here's Dave's story:
Hi: Maxine' (woefully obvious, I know) and I have been fooling around in the garage together for 10 years now!  She's a 79 HLS (BLING!) and came from a chap in Preston and had a dodgy canary yellow paint job, but her general condition was a credit to him (and her 4 previous owners!). I began stripping the car to a bare shell, my Uncle welded in a new sill, front panel and wing, while 5 new doors, a bonnet and carpet set came from another Maxi (NHD 17T) . Stripping back the paint revealed Maxine was originally silver, though I decided on two-pack 'old -english white'. Work was sporadic though- interrupted by uni work, but mainly keeping 'Trixie' (a 74 Triumph 1500TC) on the road as a daily driver .. Trixie's hibernating now so that I can get on with Maxine. She just needs the suspension blowing up (let's hope it STAYS up) and a few other minor jobs ...struggling with clutch at the minute!
