This left hand drive version was spotted outside the now defunct Austin factory in Longbridge, Birmingham, in 2005. The owner Steve Pike had been attending the Austin Centenary celebrations at nearby Cofton Park.
In addition to the vehicle shown, Steve has another Maxi, which he bought at Beaulieu Automart in September 2005. The vehicle has apparently only done 2425 miles from new. Steve reckons that its the worlds best and most original Maxi.
