Bruno tells us that the Maxi shown opposite, was bought by him after it had been left unused (and unloved) in a barn in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, for about 14 years. He says that all he's had to do to the car, is to wipe 1 cms of dust off it.

The car, whose colour was originally white, was driven by its first owner for about 53,000 Kms before being parked in a barn. When the owner died, the barn (with the car inside) was sold. It's second owner drove the car for another 4 years (approx 2000 kms), before the water pump failed. It was then left in the same barn for approximately 14 years before Bruno bought it.
