Tampere has a population of about 200,000.
It's the largest inland city in Scandinavia. It's located about
173 Km North-West of Helsinki the capital.
The town was founded by one Gustav 111 in 1779 on the banks of the
Tammerkoski Rapids becoming Finland's most industrialized city in
the 19th century. It has 2 museums Vapriikki and the Central Museum
of Labour and 2 universities.
