Maxi enthusiast Adam Ransom is aiming to circumnavigate the British Isles in his Maxi this summer, for the purpose of raising money for charity (see map above). Currently his itinerary is as follows:
21/06/09 - Bournemouth to Brighton
22/06/09 - Brighton to Southwold
23/06/09 - Southwold to Whitby
24/06/09 - Club meet and greet.
25/06/09 - Whitby to Edinburgh
26/06/09 - Edinburgh to John O' Groats
27/06/09 - John O' Groats to Ullapool
28/06/09 - Ullapool to Oban
29/06/09 - Oban to Lancaster
30/06/09 - Club meet and greet.
01/07/09 - Lancaster to Haverfordwest
03/07/09 - Haverfordwest to Minehead
04/07/09 - Minehead to Land's End
05/07/09 - Land's End to Bournemouth
Adam tells us that he is holding a bon voyage meal/drink on the 21st June at a venue in Brighton to which all members are invited. If you want to join him for part of the way, as he motors round Britain, so much the better. For up to the minute details go to www.BLChallenge.org.uk. |

The club provides a number of services to its members. These include the all important parts service, free technical advice and a bi-monthly magazine. In addition it organizes several social events during the year at national and regional level. The cost of joining the club from May 2009 is £(GBP)22 per annum. To join click here. |
